This week, we’re exploring The World Beneath My Feet, learning all about Earth materials. Explore at-home activities your child may do to enhance their understanding of natural Earth materials that you may find in your own back yard!

Week 2: Caring for Myself and the World

The theme this week is Caring for Myself and the World. Children learn how to care for themselves and also begin exploring how to reach out and care about the world as they explore the concept of conserving and reusing nature's resources.

Week 3: Caring for Our World

This week, we’re exploring Our World, learning about conservation. The at-home activities this week will help to enhance your child's understanding of recyclable materials that you may find in your own home!

Week 4: Celebrating Earth Day

This week, we continue to learn about conservation as we celebrate Earth Day! Review the activities this week to help prepare for a fun Earth Day celebration on April 22!

Week 5: Exploring the World Through Senses

Hello Spring! This week, children will learn about observing changing seasons using their five senses. Check the weather with Benjamin® the bear, learn more about conservation with Megy® the pig, and celebrate International Dance Day with Mia the mouse's dance party video.

Week 6: Planting the Seeds of Courage

This week, we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week with a very special Paper Percy Challenge. Children will also learn about the differences between living and nonliving things with the help of the Primrose Friends. All month long, children will learn the importance of courage with the help of Percy®.

Week 7: Caring for Animals

Og shows students that the best way to establish trust among individuals is through caring. Caring for pets is a responsibility and it's important to treat all animals kindly. This week, we will be exploring animal traits and what animals need to survive. Children will also learn about animal habitats, what they eat, and some interesting animal facts!

Week 8: Animal Habitats

This week, we'll examine animals and habitats in more depth. The activities will also infuse character development lessons that help foster compassion, creativity, gratitude and honesty. From social-emotional intelligence and empathy to leadership, the corresponding activities will be highlighted throughout this week's unit and additional resources.

Week 9: Animals at the Zoo

This week, children explore animals at the zoo and have some outdoor fun! New interactive games and activites from Curious World are available this week along with new songs on Billy's Playlist and plenty of animal-themed fun. From social-emotional intelligence and empathy to leadership, the corresponding activities will be highlighted throughout this week's unit and additional resources.
